Camouflage II - 'Facing East'

Okay guys, this is the completed painting titled " Camouflage II - 'Facing East' "; 84" x 48". As you can see there is a figure camouflaged by flowers. I have given the additional caption - 'Facing East', as its a quite bright like the morning sun. In this work, I have allowed the emulsion paint flow, to come in the foreground and not recede to the background like the earlier Camouflage I.
Now I am planning to do smaller sizes, but to use the same technique of Emulsion & Oil.

Interesting. I like this theme you are working on. To be perfectly honest - I am not sure if the subject talks to me personally - but it is evocative and beautiful. So perhaps everything need not be about something - some issue, some deep dark craziness?

So you are planning to go small eh? Would love to know how it feels to work smaller after so big - so keep posting.

Also, this and the prev Camouflage 1 reminds me a bit of Van Gogh for obvious reasons - the sun flowers. Any reason for this tie-up with these flowers particularly?

i like this piece. i can see your style maturing. you know after spending so much time looking at art in the museums, galleries.. i dont think we need to think about it so much . i think we need to just do it.
very nice piece. would love to see it in person and see what the texture looks like
