This blog is a document of the process of three artists creating seven paintings each over a period of ten months for a group exhibition.
It is a rich document of each artists personal journey through weekly notes. Peer critiques play an important role in documenting the dialog between the 3 artists while also providing an external perspective on this honest and introspective process.
3For is an art project that was inspired when three of us were brought together after a 10 year gap. It took losing one of our close friends to realize that the friendship that was forged in art school was really precious to each of us.
Coincidentally, all of us had just returned to the world of art after a decade of gaining experiences in various other areas.
This project is in celebration of our return - to painting and to friends.
