Dear dear girls,

I am back in Baroda after travelling in cold winds and then succumbing to extremely hot weather in India. Sorry, for abscence and non-communication. I very much love 3for and very proud to be a part of it. My trip to the UK was not really art realted. But did manage to do some art seeing. I saw a group exhibition of some printmakers like Brenda Hartill at the Bankside Gallery, London. I think print making is far superior outside than in India. The colours, paper and other technical detailing. Its so sad that India the materials are not as good, as there is so much talent here too. After London I almost immediately left for Delhi. For a painting in Vadera Gallery by a fellow artist from Baroda - Ashutosh Bharadwaj. Do check up the gallery site to see the works.
I am posting two works below which I had done for my sister.

The works were done according to size specifications and look good on the wall.
Now I have returned to baroda with a lot of ideas and renewed energy. I have started a new work and shall very soon post an image....

hey very cool work. i like the tightness of it. colours look good, and so does the composition. i think you work well when given guidelines.
do you find them too restrictive, or do you like having them?

it depends, sometimes I like it free and this time, I think the size was interesting

love this duo. the size really is interesting, and perhaps not something nirodh, or any of us, might have chosen naturally. so i guess sometimes restrictions work well. in this case it certainly has. makes me realize that we totally forget that the size and shape of the canvas is so supa imp to the final outcome.

great to be back on track with 3For girls! sorry about the emo burst...but if it brought us back together, i think it was well worth it :D

love lots!
