This blog is a document of the process of three artists creating seven paintings each over a period of ten months for a group exhibition. It is a rich document of each artists personal journey through weekly notes. Peer critiques play an important role in documenting the dialog between the 3 artists while also providing an external perspective on this honest and introspective process.

well, i get what you're saying, and i think its great that you're trying new stuff, different stuff. when you look at these two pieces how do you like them compared to the other stuff you've done?
i personally love the flower series. i dont think they're too much. in fact i love the complexity of them.
i would contine to experiment though as you seem to be learning and growing in leaps and bounds!
i like your idea of exploration within the area of your interest - flowers and nature. its really good i think to continue to keep pushing out and weaving back in...somethings are always learnt by dwelling on something for a period of time. way to go girl! and dont worry about complexity and simplicity - just go with the flow and things will be figured out in retrospect. when was this work started and when was it completed...it might be interesting for all of us to give in the rough dates for each work - might be useful for us later in understanding time and work output patters na?
