Camera was absconding.... and alot more excuses...

There are so many things happening with all of us. And it has also been good, to be a quiet spectator for some time. But, maybe this is more because of the artistic inactivity, and otherwise chaotic happenings. As I have been shifting, my motherboard-laptop collapsed, my camera was absconding.... and alot more excuses prevented me from blogging. I now hope to be back with a bang. Shall post images soon too. In comparison to my old studio, the new one is much smaller. Ironically, I am doing much bigger paintings, now. The latest is about 6 feet x 6... the next work hopes to go higher.

In the meantime, I have been also writing a few catalogues. Remember girls, I work as an art critic too :-) I feel this sort of interaction..., looking and analysing other art, really helps with my painting. I am also planning to curate a show, next year- end. A gallery in Mumbai has offered me their space to put up a curated show of Baroda artists. So next year, definately shall be more exciting for me, and I can join you happening people!!.

Most importantly we are havingthe 3For show next year. I feel we can concentrate in few cities likeMumbai, Baroda, Ahmedabad and of course our Bangalore. This I feel, would be more pratical as Delhi and Calcutta are far away. India is huge!!! And more so, I understand that if a show is seen in Mumbai first, then maybe Delhi wouldnt be so receptive, if its exactly the same. some sort of conflict... slightly maybe...
