Ok, so we all seem to agree with February 2009 for our first 3For show.
Should we start to make a list of things "to do"?
I know that we probably first have to book the spaces. Delhi is out. Right? By virtue of its distance and it doesn't work if we're thinking of Mumbai? Are we even going with Mumbai?
Sorry I'm not the best with the contacts for the galleries in India girls..
So, once we book the spaces!! We all have to get cracking. Let me know what I can do from here with that.
I do feel that we need to get as much done as we can on our own - just to show that we are serious with this show, and we dont get discouraged if we encounter less than positive reactions to our funding requests.
I agree with Arch. Lets keep this small scale, and manageable. That doesn't mean small work for you Nirali. I'm just saying in terms of the whole show.
I also think that we need to keep this blog going, with separate entries outlining our steps as the show is taking shape. If we put all the show info in the comments section, its going to be hard to find them when we need them.
List of items needed to be covered in the budget?
Dont we also need an image- maybe one from each of us so that we can mail invitations? Should invites go out in January?

Starting with the bad - regarding the show, would March work for you both? the reason Im asking is that I have realised that a bunch of things are happening in a row, and so, the month of Feb is too tight for me to focus down on. I would soooo prefer late March or even April for this. Please do consider this - also, I was thinking that way perhaps Pooj and I can celebrate our bdays together. :)
On the up side - I have been invited to become part owner of an alternative gallery space that is run and managed by artists. This means that I pay a certain amount every month for a year and I get to have 18 days of gallery space to do with as i please. I love the concept. it has been initiated by a good friend of mine, and if things work out will have a lot of the up-coming blore artists on board. The gallery space is located at The Bangalore School of Music in RT Nagar. This means that once we fix on the dates, I will ask to have a slot with those dates for 3For. No running behind gallery owners, no crying tears of blood. Bangalore as a city is big enough (and traffic jammed enuf) that if other galleries (like 1 Shanti Road) get interested we can do a 6 day run in each. what say?
Coming back to the alt gallery space - I plan to curate for it with the remainder 12 days that I own (assuming that 3For will block 6) - and that too will be an exciting prospect :) and nirodh and I can start chatting about curation woes heehehee.
With regards to the post structure I fully agree. I have made a small change, which you guys should follow from here on. Any posts that are related to the 3For Exhibition please label as 'Project Posts'. That way tracking and sifting through them becomes much easier later.

yes - in some ways this is not the best tool for communication of our nature. Its just about certain features - and in fact this itself (if we offer up a solution) might be interesting to the blogspot guys :) speaking from an ex-Microsoft Researcher perspective.
