Back on - Persevere!!

Hello girls,
Wow! shamefully almost a yr has passed since my last post. A lot has happened since then. I am a new mum, Arch - you are a new wife! Nirali, you had your first solo show! Congrats girls! Its been a busy time for us all - but we have to push on with this project of ours. It will be a huge inspiration to us as well as to other artists to see us get through our struggles and persevere with our art.
Arch, it was great to be a part of your special celebration, and hugely inspiring to renew our 3FOR project.
Please note girls : 3FOR SHOW IN DECEMBER 2010
So, whats new in the studio?
A lot of ideas floating around. Just finished a huge commissioned project - so I have not been inactive painting wise - just on the blog - once again my apologies.
Posting the project so you girls see what I have been working on.
The big thing with commissioned projects is that I cant seem to get as excited and I always feel something is missing. Not that I dont give it my all, just that when I finish, I remember the struggle. Any of you face that same challenge?
New work: I have taken a whole lot of pictures of plants that I am trying to do a series on. I think somehow down the road it will connect to the ambiguous backgrounds of my nudes.
As a new mum, I'm still struggling to find time to juggle my hours. But, I have to say I have been feeling way more productive than when I was pregnant.
I will post something in a weeks time. Till then take care, and Arch, enjoy your "second" wedding in Blore - coming up this weekend! Then, my dear - its back to work!! we have to prep for our upcoming show!

Dear Poojie... thanks for initiating 3For again. Yeah, I think it will be super cool to have a 3 For event in December.
What you were saying about commsioned projects... how much of it was your choice, like do they give you a theme...
But I think either way its a struggle... Painting is struggle!!
Anyway, I have also posted on the blog and hope to start posting regularly...
