crunch time - panel 1

so, this is what the first panel is currently looking like. definitely a serious work in progress. Its taking super long, and the build up/ layering is taking some time. It is starting to speak to me though - slowly but surely. Once the dialogue becomes clearer it will go by fast. For now its still building on the foundation.
I dont know if you can see but there are actually two figures in this piece. I am also playing with some fish ideas..I like my paintings to give a dreamy, almost surreal - like feel. So, that is what I am aiming for.
I do like how the figure is starting to emerge.. and it definitely is s very important aspect of my work to step back very often and to periodically walk away from the piece before i can work on it again. See it with fresh eyes!

Hey Pooja... I really like it the way its coming out. I think the blank facial expression should be retained. yeah, can see two figures and really looking forward to see how it will come out.
